  • Schuler has been offering Healthy Hot Lunches.  In April they had beef stew.
  • Prairie View Colony had a Healthy Easter Party with bunny muffins, carrots, and orange juice.  
  • Jenner Colony had a Snowball Fight on April 15th - Breaking all records for the latest ever recorded snowball fight.  
  • On Wednesday, April 28 Ralston students hopped, skipped and jumped as part of their Jump Rope for Heart event.  Students spent a period in the community centre in Ralston jumping rope at different stations set up with all different types of rope-skipping including double dutch, backwards and other skilled techniques.  Check out http://prrdweb.com/News.php?news_id=1924 for more info.
  • Rosedale Colony has Healthy Snacks with a theme: 100th day Healthy Snack, Olympic Healthy Snack, St. Patrick’s Day Healthy Snack.  
  • IF Cox had a Moving and Choosing physical activity station at its Welcome to Kindergarten Orientation.  
  • Jenner and Margaret Wooding have started Kids Cooking Clubs
  • Parkside has Lunch & Learn sessions with healthy lunches & info.
  • Warren Peers and Roseglen Colony had Healthy Snack Presentations.
  • Kingslake Colony, Parkside, and Irvine had Be Fit for Life School Activity Based Programs
  • Prairie View, Shamrock, and Sunrise Colonies participated in the Alberta Active Living Challenge Day on May 20th
  •
